Ojén Enduro Singletrack Paradise

Just above the village of Ojén lies a fantastic forest area known locally as Llanos de Purla. This is an absolute enduro playground — a fantastic circuit of fast, fun, and flowy trails with plenty of variety.

You’ll find smooth, sweeping singletrack mixed with more technical sections including sharp sandy corners, small drops, chutes, and the occasional loose rock. While some trails are easier and more forgiving, others are more challenging — but all are hugely enjoyable and located in the same compact area, so you can easily session your favourites as many times as you like.

From our base in Fuengirola, it’s roughly a 35–40 minute scenic van drive to get there. The big advantage is that you can park the van at the bottom of the road, do a quick 10-minute e-bike climb, and you’re right at the trailheads — perfect for riding multiple laps without long transfers.

After an awesome morning or afternoon session, we jump back in the van and head to our local Mijas mountains for a well-earned lunch stop, followed by a relaxed descent back down to base in Fuengirola.
