Lobo Trail
Length: 5km. | Height (AMSL): 600m.
We begin in the forest above Alhaurín village, with beautiful views overlooking the town.
After a few fun runs on the “Happy Days” trail, we start a long but steady climb (very easy on e-bikes). This brings us to a stunning viewpoint on the coast, marked by a wolf statue (Lobo). At around 600 metres above sea level, we pause to enjoy the panoramic views before dropping in.
The descent starts with a rocky singletrack full of fun switchbacks. The second half then flows through a beautiful forest on smooth, fast singletrack.
We eventually finish at the port of Benalmádena, where we can relax with a well-earned lunch and a cold drink.
From there, we can catch the bus for an uplift to another great trail around Mijas.
