ROCK N' ROLLER
Length: 3km. | Height (AMSL): 930m.
Technical Forest Descent from Mijas (Black trail, probably not for Sierra clients)
We start from a quarry above Mijas village at around 500m above sea level.
From there, we warm up with a gradual zig-zagging fire road climb that takes about 25–30 minutes to reach the top.
Once at the highest point, we turn right (directly opposite the “Golf Ball Trail” entrance) onto a hidden singletrack.
The entrance drops in steeply and smoothly at first, but after the first couple of hundred metres the fun really begins as we plunge into a deep, shady forest.
The trail quickly becomes more technical and rocky the further we descend — a thrilling mix of big fixed rock slabs, loose rocky sections, and sandy patches that will test your bike-handling skills.
This proper technical descent eventually spits us out into the beautiful Alhaurín forest.
From here we enjoy a more relaxed loop through the woods on a great mix of fire roads and smoother singletrack, before finishing up at a perfect lunch spot.
A fantastic ride: steady climb, big technical descent, and flowing forest trails to finish!
