ROCK N' ROLLER

Starting from a quarry above Mijas village at about 500m above sea level, we make our way up a gradual zigzagging fire road climb for aproximately 25-30min. Once we get to the highest point of the fire road, we’ll find a trail entrance straight ahead on the right hand side (exactly opposite the “Golf Ball Trail entrance”). It’s quite a steep but smooth entrance, but after the first couple of hundred metres, we’ll soon begin to descend into a deep forest where the trail gets more and more rockier as we advance.  We’ll come across a mixture of large fixed rocks together with very loose sections of rocks and sand. A very technical trail that leads down to the Alhaurin forest, where we loop through the woods on a mixture of fire-roads and smoother singletrack till lunch.
