THREE AMIGOS

We kick things off from a lofty perch about 700 metres above the charming whitewashed village of Mijas. After a short warm-up climb, it’s time to drop in and let the fun begin!

From here you’ve got options to reach the legendary 3 Amigos zone (high above Alhaurín de la Torre). The brave can plunge straight down Digglers — our proper black run: a steep, twisty singletrack ripping through the forest that’s strictly for the most experienced riders with nerves of steel.

Or, if you prefer to keep the grin without the adrenaline spike, take the long, winding fire road — a fast, flowing descent that lasts a glorious 10 minutes of pure descending joy.

Once we’re all reunited in the 3 Amigos area, it’s singletrack paradise! Flowy, fun trails through the pines that everyone can enjoy. We’ll session the area properly: pedal up the fireroads, then rip back down the sweet singletracks, over and over until your legs (or the daylight) say stop.

When we’ve had our fill, we roll down for a well-earned lunch at a classic Andalusian venta just outside Alhaurín de la Torre — cold drinks, good food, and proper mountain bike vibes.

In the afternoon you’ve got two choices:

• Stick with the big boys and hit the “Happy Days” trails — proper fun but definitely for the more experienced riders.
• Or jump in the van for a quick shuttle back to Mijas and enjoy the beautiful San Antón descent all the way down to the coast — smooth, scenic, and perfect for intermediate riders who just want to smile the whole way.
